A San Antonio Start
Hi, my name is Greg Mikesell and I was raised in San Antonio, Texas here I spent the majority of my childhood and teenage years. I graduated with a BBA (Bachelor’s in Business Administration) in accounting and a minor finance with honors from The University of Texas in San Antonio.
During my years at UTSA, I successfully conducted an independent study on the purchase of medical equipment through a discounted cash flow model. After that, I took up a year of Nursing Education at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville. Find our more about me here.
I am thankful everyday for my life and my friends and that I live in such a prosperous and unique city like Austin. I put passion into everything I do and have made sure that I’ve spent enough time in my continuing education learning all I can about what I do.
I find that I learn more and more through hard-work & perseverance. Apart from my role at Principle, I’ve been a successful motivator and businessman in many startups.
I believe that is was thirst for knowledge and my strong family values that have brought me to where I am today. I’ve also been told that I have a keen attention for detail that can even frustrate people at times! I’m a hard-core sports fan and am a member of the US Tennis Association.
Living in Austin
My life has been a roller coaster and it still is! My toils in the playground, my experiences with people from across the United States, and around the world and my adventures in writing for this blog, all have taught me innumerable lessons. Like some of my mentors in business, I have also been down the road of struggle, failures, successes and rewards and am a smarter and stronger person for it.
Apart from handling my business as a CEO, I also use my vast business experience to create and implement new innovations in the field of health care that are aimed at improving the lives of both doctors and their patients alike.
Texas Sports & News
I have also been actively involved in the growth and development of various start-ups and SMEs (small and medium size enterprises). I do this by offering my skills that involve the inherent ability to observe on-going trends and recognize crucial business opportunities within them. This blog is a channel to connect me to all of you out there, and please leave me a comment, I would love to hear from you.
